Final results

The WomenPRO project finished in August 2020 with a success even during the difficult times of Covid-19 pandemic. Adapting to our new-remote work reality, the partners had to move from in-person to online meeting.

Despite of the situation, the partners produced high-quality results helping more young women to start their social business.

The developed WomenPRO course helps young women from rural areas to turn their idea into a functioning business. The course contains five modules (Be motivated, Be creative, Be skilled, Be informed, Be successful) which are available in the five different languages of the partnership and it follows a blended learning approach combining: traditional and virtual learning, self-study with peer-to-peer activities with a coach. Also, it offers the opportunity to participants to prepare their own business plan and present it to coaches. By completing the course, a participant can gain a certificate on social enterprises.

During the 2-years of the project, the didactic methodology has been designed that provides the methodology and the structure of the assessment process of the course.

Furthermore, the project also provides the manual created for women coaches in social entrepreneurship where they can find available resources, teaching tools and exercises to integrate the women entrepreneurs into their training. Finally, the WomenPRO training course offers interactive exercises and tests to support women in a self-assessment process during the course.

All the materials are free of charge and on open source license. The start the course, please click on the e-learning platform.
